MONDAY 4/13)
- Chuck (NBC, 8pm): “When Chuck’s father is abducted by Fulcrum forces, Chuck attempts to rescue him by putting his faith in a most unlikely person—his double-crossing ex-girlfriend, Jill (Jordana Brewster).” Well, she is fast and furious.
- Dhani Tackles the Globe (Travel, 9pm): “Dhani visits Spain’s Basque region to learn about jai alai, a fast-paced ball game that’s been called “ballet with bullets.” That’s one performance of The Nutcracker I would probably sit out.
- Roommates (ABC Family, 9pm): “Hope’s father makes a surprise visit and tells her to come home because he’s unhappy with her job situation.” Doesn’t he, like, understand how hard it is out there? He’s so lame.
- 24 (FOX, 9pm): “Jack’s daughter returns.” Because the worst day in Daddy’s life just wouldn’t be the same without her.

Friday Ratings: Flashpoint Tops Slow Evening
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, America’s Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris, Ratings,
On an evening with no basketball games and a Ghost Whisperer repeat, Flashpoint came off strong. (At least, when compared to most of the programs out there.)
8pm
- Ghost Whisperer* (1.6/6) spooked up 7.3 million.
- Wife Swap (4.6 million, 1.5/6) lost 900,000.
- Howie Do It (3.6 million, 1.1/4) remained even.
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (3.4 million, 1.3/5) gave up 400,000.
- Everybody Hates Chris (1.8 million, 0.6/2) did the same; The Game (1.9 million, 0.8/3) was off slightly.

Although CBS didn’t see Ghost Whisperer-sized numbers, the network’s sports coverage did rally enough viewers to topple the competition.
8pm
- The NCAA basketball tournament (8.4 million, 2.9/9 in 18-49) was down 1 million from Thursday.
- Wife Swap (4.9 million, 1.6/6) picked up 400,000.

MONDAY (3/23)
- The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family, 8pm): “Amy gives birth to her son and has a difficult time adjusting to life as a mom.” Unfortunately for her, society is no longer interested in single mothers of one child.
- Gossip Girl (CW, 8pm): “Lily and Rufus make lists of their past lovers.” I think even Gossip Girl would qualify that as TMI.
- Animal Cops: Phoenix (Animal, 10pm): “A skunk gets trapped in an elevator shaft.” Well that stinks.
- Table for 12 (TLC, 10pm): Series premiere. “Betty Hayes, mother of three sets of multiples (twins, twins, sextuplets), is sent to the spa on her birthday, while the rest of the family plans a special celebration at home.” Great. More stuff for her to clean up later.

MONDAY 3/16)
- House (FOX, 8pm): “A nursing home worker is alarmed when the home’s cat curls up next to her. It seems the cat only cuddles up to people who are going to die soon.” That’s what felines call “grooming their victims.”
- Castle (ABC, 10pm): “Castle and Beckett discover a young nanny dead inside a laundry room dryer, and their investigation leads to a dangerous world of play dates.” The pursuit for the perfect Hide-and-Seek spot can get quite nasty.
- For the Love of Ray J (VH1, 10pm): “A pool date with two contesants turns steamy.” Thanks to Jason Mesnick, I already know how this episode will end.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): “A flight attendant’s murder reveals dirty secrets of airline travel.” Note to self: Pack own pillow and blanket for next flight.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Drama, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, America’s Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris, Ratings,
After weeks of steady declines, FOX’s Friday night lineup did something unusual: it improved. Terminator and Dollhouse‘s increases gave the network a slightly less embarrassing 4th place finish.
8pm
- Ghost Whisperer (11.1 million, 2.6/9 in 18-49) remained even.
- Wife Swap (4.5 million, 1.4/5) picked up 300,000.
- Howie Do It (4.3 million, 1.3/5) was up a few notches.
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (3.5 million, 1.2/4) grew by a 1/2 million.
- Everybody Hates Chris (0.7/2) turned in 1.8 million; The Game (0.8/3) dialed up 2.1 million.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Animation, Comedy, Drama, Food & Home, Prime Time, Reality, Sci-Fi/Horror, ABC, Bravo, Cable, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, TNT-HD, America’s Next Top Model, Apprentice, The - Donald, Dancing With The Stars, Everybody Hates Chris, Family Guy,
(You can view TV Envy’s Midseason Programming Schedule here.)
MONDAY 3/9)
- Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm): Season premiere. “This season, a new feature in the early weeks is a dance-off between the bottom two couples facing elimination.” Steve Wozniak + moon walk = elimination-proof.
- The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8pm): “The guys’ trip to San Francisco takes a detour once they learn that actress Summer Glau (appearing as herself) is on their train.” If you don’t already know who Summer Glau is, you probably shouldn’t be watching this show.
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30pm): “Ted reunites with his college girlfriend (Laura Prepon), prompting Lily and Marshall to reveal how much they loathed the snooty woman.” From what I recall, one can easily bond with Prepon over a quick smoke break.
- Castle (ABC, 10pm): Series premiere. “Well-known mystery writer Richard Castle is questioned by a fiery detective about a serial killer reenacting murders from his books.” Kinda sounds like Basic Instinct, sans a naked Michael Douglas. Or Sharon Stone. Or Jeanne Tripplehorn.
